How to write a founder profile that gets connections

People decide in about two seconds. On BIZCULAR that decision rests on three things: your photo, your role line, and 200 characters of bio.

The photo

A clear, well-lit face photo, shoulders up, no sunglasses, no logo. Logos read as an advert; faces read as a person willing to be accountable.

The role line

Before: "Entrepreneur". After: "Founder · Kora Logistics (last-mile delivery, Lagos)". Specific is memorable.

The bio

Use the 200 characters for what you are building and what you need. Before: "Passionate about innovation and creating value." After: "Cold-chain storage for smallholder farms, 6 paying customers. Looking for a technical co-founder and a packaging supplier."

Set your filters honestly

Choosing every option under Looking for makes your profile meaningless to the matching logic. Pick the two or three things you genuinely want this month and change them later.

Put this into practice

Set up a profile, say what you need, and start swiping. Three connections are free.
